Change & Release Manager - Google Cloud Migration

Responsibilities:

• Own and coordinate change management activities related to both business processes and technical solutions
• Manage and coordinate changes required across application development teams as part of the cloud transformation programme
• Drive the change and release management processes in accordance with internal policies, procedures and governance requirements
• Coordinate release planning and ensure dependencies, risks and required actions are properly identified and followed up
• Act as the central point of contact for change and release-related activities within the programme
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of changes
• Coordinate communication, information-sharing and upskilling activities for relevant users and stakeholders
• Ensure clear documentation and communication of planned changes, impacts, dependencies and required actions
• Proactively follow up on activities and support stakeholders in resolving issues affecting successful change implementation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Change Management and Release Management
• Proven hands-on experience managing change and release activities within cloud migration or cloud transformation projects
• Experience working with application development teams and coordinating technical changes across complex IT environments
• Strong understanding of structured change and release management processes, governance and controls
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to engage stakeholders, drive follow-up actions and bring clarity to complex topics in both written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights
• Experience facilitating communication, knowledge-sharing and upskilling activities related to organisational or technical change
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong sense of ownership, proactivity and a solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and drive activities through to completion

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working as a Release Manager within Nordea is considered a significant advantage
• Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) transformation or migration programmes
• Experience working within large-scale banking or financial services environments
