Your role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure . You will work on large-scale cloud environments, supporting the development of secure, scalable, and highly available solutions. The role combines hands-on infrastructure engineering, automation, and operational support, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , cloud migrations, and platform modernization initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud best practices, improve deployment processes, and optimize cloud environments across networking, security, and performance domains. Experience with AWS is beneficial, while exposure to GCP will be considered an advantage.

Your tasks

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily within Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Support cloud migration projects, including transitions from on-premises environments to the cloud.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support cloud and application deployments.
• Collaborate with project teams on cloud architecture, security, networking, and operational improvements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services to ensure reliability and performance.

Your profile

• Strong experience in automation and configuration management using Ansible (required).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform (required).
• Experience working in large-scale IT environments.Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS and/or GCP.
• Practical engineering experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle, Orange, etc.).
• Experience with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins).Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking and cloud security fundamentals.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with other provisioning/configuration tools (Puppet, Chef, OpenStack).
• Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Agile / Lean methodologies in practice.Knowledge of cluster storage technologies.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration.
• Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS, DCA.
