For which tasks (responsibilities)?
We are looking for an experienced Pixi.js Game Developer to develop a 2D hybrid genre game for Stake. The technical documentation is already complete. Your main focus will be building advanced game physics and game mathematics that make the game feel engaging, responsive, and polished. The physics should feel as realistic as it would in a simulation game.
We are launching our own games and entering the market as a game provider. We're looking for a developer who can take the lead on future titles if this project goes well. This can grow into a Lead Developer role with a fixed salary and potential partnership opportunities.
We want every game we release to feel original and set a high standard for quality. We are looking for someone who cares about the details, enjoys solving complex game development challenges, and wants to build genuinely great products. At the same time, we are growing a strong full-time team capable of consistently delivering games at that level.
If you have strong experience with Pixi.js and a solid understanding of game mathematics and physics , we'd be happy to hear from you.
Please include the following with your application:
A portfolio of games you have worked on
Links to live demos or published games
A short explanation of your role and responsibilities on each project
What kind of professional are we looking for?
At least 5 years in professional game development, with strong hands-on experience using Pixi.js.
A proven track record of building realistic, simulator-level physics and smooth, engaging gameplay.
Experience optimising performance, building animation systems, handling collision detection, and creating responsive gameplay for desktop and mobile devices.
Confidence working with existing codebases, technical documentation, and third-party APIs.
English skills strong enough to understand technical documentation and communicate clearly with the team.
Strong mathematical skills are a major advantage, especially in probability, game mechanics, balancing, and simulations.
What is important for us in a person?
We value initiative, respect, accountability, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to quality. Everyone on the team is trusted to take ownership, suggest better ways of doing things, and contribute to the long-term development of both the product and the company.
Why do we enjoy working here?
You are paid from the beginning, based on clear terms agreed in advance. For people who become an important part of the studio and want to build with us for the long term, we're also open to discussing partnership and equity opportunities on top of regular compensation.
What are the conditions and bonuses?
Flexible hours, with a focus on results instead of a rigid daily schedule.
A fully remote setup, so you can work from anywhere.
Bonuses based on performance and successful project delivery.
Clear long-term growth opportunities, including the chance to become a Lead Developer.
Potential partnership and equity opportunities for key long-term team members.
