Your responsibilities

• The Technical Consultant Pet Health is responsible for developing and implementing promotional & communication strategies for Animal Health Professionals in different fields of Pet Health.This is a great opportunity to work with products, which are first-in-class originators that bring unique benefits to practicing veterinarians and their patients.This position also offers an opportunity to work with a set of highly skilled pet health professionals and to develop as a professional in the field of veterinary pharmacology and gain deeper understanding and knowledge in different fields of veterinary medicine like parasitology, internal medicine, dermatology and pain management.
• Develop and execute promotional & communication strategies tailored to Animal Health Professionals across various fields of Pet Health.
• Plan and successful implement new product launches.
• Align with the CEE Technical Marketeer/TC Head and Commercial/Marketing responsible for the country/territory/brand to ensure the effective local implementation of strategies.
• Provide on-the-ground support to local commercial teams through regular field visits.
• Implement the veterinary product strategy for all Pet Health products within the local market.
• Support and organize regional/country events with educational and promotional purposes.
• Foster and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL's) at the local level.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, both digital and print.
• Be willing to travel within home country, with the potential for responsibilities in multiple Central Eastern Europe countries.

Our requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM).
• Strong public speaking and presentational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one of the CEE languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven experience in commercial operations and/or within the Pet Health industry or veterinary practice.
• Demonstrated empathy and passion for the veterinary animal health business.
• Strong alignment with Elanco's cultural pillars and a positive attitude.
• Open-minded attitude and strong motivation for the position.
• Ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships.
• Proven track record of effectively collaborating with teams and cross-functional departments such as Research, Development, Marketing, Services, Finance, Customer Service and Business Development.
• Results-oriented team player, who takes initiative and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional organizational and implementation skills.
• Ability to influence others and drive successful outcomes through teamwork.

Additional Information:

This role requires approximately up to 50% travel within the region.
