Your responsibilities

Your Missions

Manage a portfolio or a range of products and define with support of the LVT Product Director, the right product plan and range, ensuring a profitable sales development and a continuous leadership of Tarkett LVT products.

This will encompass to:

1. Directly manage the Loose-Lay & Interlocking part of the LVT product portfolio, following New Product Development Process :

o Analyse the performances (sales, margin, share of new products) and identify the root causes of such performance (quality issues, pricing, technical performances)

o Support Sales networks in the development of sales on its product categories

o Build product training modules and perform product trainings.

o Manage the entire product development process on product portfolio (including launch package and results follow up after launch) and ensure on-time delivery.

o Interact with Design, R&D, Communication, Production, Quality and Supply Chain and Sales Networks in the development and lifetime of product portfolio.

o Ensure full compliance with regulations and manage certifications together with Resilient Technical Management and Environment team.

o Deliver full launch package to Communication team to develop differentiating Marketing tools.

2. Contribute to the definition and execution of the Business Unit strategy together with the BU Management :

o Defining in which Product Categories, RTMs, Countries we want to play considering estimated market structure, development and profit pools,

o Services improvement (Quick Range, Customization service, Late differentiation, Online sales

o Improvement in our profitability via a higher productivity in our plants, and work hands in hands with Finance, Supply Chain, R&D and plants to do so

o Develop solutions to increase post-consumer Product take back and recycling content.

o Any other relevant initiatives (Project Management tool, pricing tool, etc.)

Our requirements

Your Profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Product Development or in the animation and deployment of Industrial, R&D, Sales or Marketing/Communication projects with proven experience in transversal team management.

• You have a reliable experience in market analysis. You present strong analytical & strategic skills being performance-driven with business analysis competencies (market insights, threats & opportunities RTM…) and marketing skills including benchmark and value proposition.

• You demonstrate a strong interest in sales activity to well understand local market dynamics and needs in Innovation and Operations to play an active role in transversal projects impacting the LVT product categories.

• You have demonstrated experiences in project management preferably orientated into the identification and implementation of new product/service offer with direct or indirect involvement in R&D and/or Industrial projects.

• You are comfortable in taking initiatives. You are a team player and present great relationship capacities.

• You demonstrate very good leadership capabilities with an international open-mind and a multicultural experience.

• You demonstrate the ability to evolve in an international and multicultural environment, as you are required to communicate with your colleagues from abroad, being fluent in English is a must.

• Communication and interpersonal skills from the front line to the Boardroom (explaining the ‘Why’ and ‘How’ at stake) with good presentation skills & report writing skills

• Strong people management skills and strong proven change management and influencing and negotiation skills (e.g. ability to influence constituencies across internal functions)

Languages

The person will be fluent in English and preferably French and/or German.

Education

The person holds a university degree and preferably a master’s degree in business or engineering.

Location

The role is based in the company’s headquarters in La Défense (near Paris) or in Tarkett’s BU plants but the job will require frequent travel (in average 5 days / month and up to 3 days per week) and the company has a remote working policy.
