Junior Algorithm Researcher

Currently enrolled in an MSc or BSc program in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or other related fields.Good knowledge (with coursework or project experience) in at least one of the following fields, listed in decreasing order of importance:Optimization (combinatorial optimization, QUBO, integer programming, linear programming)Numerical methods for ordinary/partial differential equations or statistical physicsMachine learning (graph neural networks, time-series prediction, deep generative models)Strong programming skills, experienced in Python and at least one of PyTorch/NumPy; ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases.Comfortable with Git, terminal, and reproducible research practices (able to read a paper and reproduce a result from it).Excellent teamwork spirit and communication skills.Optional (Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas of application will be prioritized):Background in protein design, structural bioinformatics, or molecular modelling (e.g., statistical potentials, inverse folding).Experience running PyTorch on accelerators (GPU, NPU),Diffusion Models: experience with training and inference solvers (DDPM, DDIM, DPM-Solver), familiarity with diffusion theory (diffusion processes, probability flows).
