Environmental Concept Artist with Brain on Fire

A former Niantic VP says that we are the next big game to follow Pokemon Go. It's the world's first Outdoor Roleplaying Game!

We have this concept art for a video game maze . It looks great in 3D and we already made the 3D maze piece models!

But the concept art just uses solid colors for the walls, floors, ceilings, and architectural features. We need an environmental concept artist to suggest textures.

That's it. The entire project is to take this existing concept art, these sketches, and suggest what the floors, ceiling, walls, and architectural features might look like. We already have the 3D maze pieces, so we are not looking to change the structure of the maze. It's literally just decorate the surfaces with metal, marble, a mural, whatever you can come up with. It's an evil laboratory but cannot be too dark.

Q: Don't you want me to redesign your entire game?

A: No. Just the maze walls, floors, ceilings, and architectural features.

Q: But you want me to redesign the entire look of the maze in 3D, right?

A: No. We already built the maze pieces in 3D. We just need the textures.

Q: Oh, so you want a trim sheet engineer?

A: No. We don't care about implementation right now. We need a concept artist to suggest a look.

Q: So I'm just taking your existing maze concept art and suggesting a few cool things for the walls? With no implementation needed?

A: Yes. It's easy money, an easy project.

This is a simple, fixed price, concept art project. Top level payment, and if this project goes well, we will have other projects and possible full-time work.

You can work from home, remotely, and if you live near Warsaw our team is based there so that we can occasionally meet for a free company dinner. Unlike other companies that are mismanaged and constantly in "crunch time", we have a smooth, no drama operation where everyone is excited to make a new category of video game.

We prefer B2B contracts but other types are fine. We value diversity, and have hired many immigrants into Poland.
