About the project

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer with German (min. B2) to join a Delivery2Cash team focused on end-to-end cloud billing. The person in this role will design, build, operate and improve a Cloud Cost Service and a Billing Converter that prepare and process cloud billing data. Working in an agile Scrum environment, you will blend software development, solution architecture and quality assurance to deliver reliable, scalable cloud-native billing solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, implement and customize components within cloud-based applications and services related to cloud billing.
• Design technical architectures from business and technical requirements and ensure their successful implementation.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into concrete technical solution concepts and implementation plans.
• Create architecture concepts including database designs, component specifications, interfaces and service definitions.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies and AWS CDK.
• Develop and maintain relational database solutions (e.g., Amazon RDS / MySQL).
• Build frontend components and user interfaces using TypeScript, HTML and CSS as required by billing tools and dashboards.
• Implement backend services and integrations using Python and cloud-native development practices.
• Identify, document and validate non-functional requirements such as performance, security and operability.
• Estimate effort for technical solutions and development activities.
• Participate in design, code and test reviews to ensure solution quality and adherence to standards.
• Support quality assurance activities and monitor compliance with architecture and development standards.
• Collaborate with agile Scrum teams to continuously improve cloud cost management and billing services.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices, test automation and the continuous improvement of development and delivery processes.

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of AWS cloud architecture and development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relational database development experience (e.g., Amazon RDS / MySQL).
• Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience using TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
• Minimum 5 years of professional Python development experience.
• German language skills at least B2.
• Fluent English.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Methodological expertise in software development methods and practical experience with Scrum and Agile approaches.
