Senior AI Engineer (AI-Assisted Software Development)

Senior AI Engineer (Claude Code / OpenSpec / MCP) Location: Remote (within Poland) Employment Type: B2B Rate: 160-180 PLN/h Language: English (fluent) We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help shape the future of AI-assisted software development. You'll build production-ready solutions using Claude Code, specification-driven engineering practices, and modern AI tooling. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys delivering software, improving engineering workflows, and helping teams adopt AI-first development approaches. Key Responsibilities Deliver software solutions from structured specifications. Use Claude Code across analysis, development, testing, and documentation. Validate and improve AI-generated code through engineering best practices. Create reusable prompts, templates, workflows, and AI development assets. Troubleshoot and optimize AI-assisted delivery processes. Mentor engineers and promote AI-driven development practices across teams. Required Qualifications Strong background in software engineering. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development. Daily commercial experience using Claude Code. Experience working in spec-first / specification-driven development environments. Strong understanding of testing, debugging, code reviews, and software quality controls. Ability to verify and challenge AI-generated output. Experience mentoring or upskilling engineering teams. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Highly Valued Experience OpenSpec, GitHub Spec Kit, or similar specification tooling. MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations and AI tooling configuration. Agent-based development workflows and AI automation. Driving the adoption of new engineering practices across teams.
