Job Description
The Product and Customer Manager (PCVM) is responsible for the end-to-end assigned product’s performance, including meeting financial and non-financial targets. It plays a crucial role in managing key customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships. The PCVM acts as the primary point of contact between the organization and customers and prioritizes key accounts management, strategic account planning, and communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic Account Management roadmap/plan and build value-driven relationships with key customers to maximize sales potential and retention.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, deliver assigned sales targets, and foster client loyalty while serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
- Monitor the execution and success of account plans via defined KPIs (lead KPIs such as coverage and frequency of visits, days in field; lag KPIs such as sales performance, market share, customer satisfaction) and implement strategies to enhance client experience and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to stay abreast of changes that may impact key accounts and provide insights and recommendations.
- Lead the development and execution of the brand strategy for assigned products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Drive the development and delivery of an optimized Brand Plan and national sales targets, identifying scenarios and growth opportunities.
- Give special attention to product life-cycle topics such as investment level, generic competition, tenders, and pricing.
- Shape and deliver appropriate customer interaction journeys across omnichannel aspects to maximize customer experience, including face to face, telephone, and digital engagements.
- Monitor the brand/portfolio performance at the local level and provide standard KPIs and metrics in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
- Build partnership relations and engage the medical society, national KOLs, and key hospital decision makers (hospital directors, medical directors, public orders departments, pharmacists, etc.) to deliver on key projects.
- Maintain high collaboration with supply chain and customer service teams to control planning and utilization processes.
- Field-based role, commission-type, requiring 70% of working time in field; frequent travel, including overnight stays.
Requirements (knowledge, education, skills)
- University degree.
- 5 years of experience in sales and commercial functions, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Relevant experience in contracting, tendering, and key account management.
- Track record in building strong relationships with external decision makers, especially purchasers and hospital administrators.
- Strong project management, flexibility, adaptability, influencing skills, and ability to create followership.
- Native Polish proficiency and very good English knowledge.
- Marketing experience is a plus.
