Medical Operations Associate

ICON seeks a Medical Operations Associate to provide senior-level operational support for medical monitoring and drug development projects across clinical research initiatives. The role involves cross-functional coordination, staff mentoring, quality oversight, and process improvement in compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical operations and drug development project support with cross-functional coordination
• Manage project communication, escalation, documentation, and quality control activities
• Mentor and oversee junior Medical Operations Associates workloads and development
• Serve as subject matter expert for processes and systems improvement initiatives
• Manage client portfolios and standalone medical monitoring projects as assigned

Requirements

• Medical or scientific background with drug development operational experience
• Demonstrated expertise in medical monitoring or clinical operations processes
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Experience mentoring and supervising junior staff
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and study protocol compliance
• Legal right to work in Poland or Romania
