Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Middleware & Digital Platforms team. You will be part of a group responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining middleware infrastructure and platforms across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise environments. Our technology stack includes Kubernetes, NGINX+, Kong API Gateway, Elastic Search, CloudAMQP, Aiven Kafka, Jetty, and more.

About the Project

Our team drives the development and evolution of core middleware platforms used across the organization. We are currently focusing on:

• Implementation of a Kubernetes solution for European Manufacturing Centers (EMCs)
• Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices
• Transition from existing tools to GitHub
• Further standardization and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain middleware infrastructure and platforms across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on‑premise environments.
• Operate and evolve Kubernetes-based solutions and related tooling (NGINX+, API gateways, data platforms).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices; support the transition from existing tools to GitHub.
• Contribute to standardization efforts and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must-Have Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong experience with GitHub
• Solid expertise in AWS
• Strong Bash scripting skills
• Extensive experience with Docker
• Practical experience with GitOps
