About the project

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in payments to join our team in Krakow. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and architects to deliver solutions that support strategic technology initiatives. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into structured deliverables, driving collaboration across teams, and ensuring successful delivery in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities

• Eliciting, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment and business sign-off
• Translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and actionable work items for delivery teams
• Performing systems analysis activities to support solution design and ensure requirements are technically feasible
• Providing consultation and recommendations to business stakeholders regarding payment processes, system capabilities, and solution approaches
• Facilitating requirement walkthroughs, workshops, demos, and stakeholder discussions to ensure understanding and alignment
• Supporting development and testing teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring effective knowledge transfer
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to support successful project delivery
• Coordinating delivery activities, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely execution across multiple stakeholders

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role
• Strong Payments expertise, covering payment processes, platforms, and industry practices
• Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems, including SEPA, RTP, NACHA, or similar payment schemes
• Familiarity with XML, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and other industry-standard payment formats
• Background in Corporate Banking, Payments, or Corporate Channels domains
• Understanding of low-value and file-based payment processing systems
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including user story creation, story slicing, and estimation techniques
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira and Visio
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and translate it into actionable requirements
