WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Handling of the arriving Air- and Ocean freight shipments to our European warehouses (incl. UK) in line with the standard process and deadlines provided for operation
• Monitoring of the invoice idoc’s received, including the check for accuracy and completeness and possible required correction of false information, in order to process the data accurately through the SAP system
• Creating the Inbound data for third-party supplier deliveries and submitting the data to the warehouse management systems
• Monitoring and handling of arriving UPS or DHL Courier shipments by handling the inbound data and assuring the customs clearance by either internal system or the courier company and timely delivery to the direct customers in Europe (incl. UK)
• Monitoring and handling of on-carriage lead times of the arriving Air- and Ocean freight shipments and escalation to the team leader in case of irregularities
• Handling of damages or false deliveries, which were claimed by the warehouse provider after delivery to the inbound department with either the delivery service provider or overseas logistics company

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Work experience in the international (Air/Ocean) freight forwarding agency or a logistics department of a trading company with international material flows
• Experienced understanding and handling of logistics difficulties in an international environment
• >2 years or more work experience
• Fluent in English language (written/spoken)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook and general Microsoft Office programmes
