About GlobalLogic and the EMEA Legal Team As GlobalLogic continues expanding its business, the company seeks an experienced legal counsel to join the Legal EMEA team. The team provides legal support for offices in 10 countries: Croatia, Germany, Israel, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

Requirements

Qualifications & experience

  • Required masters of law in Poland.
  • Additional license to practice law or a law degree in another EU country, preferably Romania, Slovakia or Sweden, is welcome.
  • Required minimum 8 years of total professional legal experience, including law firm experience.
  • Preferred: Experience as an in‑house lawyer within a multinational corporation; IT companies; and working with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Strong expertise in employment law is a must.
  • Legal generalist experience is welcome.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Fluency in other European languages is a plus, preferably Polish, Slovak, Croatian, Romanian or Swedish.

Location: Based in Poland.

Job responsibilities

The Role The successful candidate will be a critical contributor to the legal function across the region, providing comprehensive legal advice and support on a variety of matters with a particular emphasis on employment law. The role offers close collaboration with both the EMEA and global legal teams, as well as with business stakeholders worldwide.

  • Legal advisory: Provide timely, high‑quality legal support to other departments, review complex queries, and offer clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Employment law focus: Serve as the go‑to expert for employment law matters in the region.
  • Compliance & risk management: Ensure compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations, and track changes in relevant legislation.
  • Documentation & policy development: Draft, review, and develop internal policies, procedures, and other legal documents to support business operations and maintain compliance.
  • External counsel management: Cooperate with external legal counsels across the region.
  • Global collaboration: Support colleagues within the global legal team as required and foster a collaborative, worldwide legal function.
