Join a global manufacturing leader! In this high-impact role, you will take ownership of regional commodities, conduct EMEA supplier audits, and drive preventive quality initiatives across multinational facilities.
What will your tasks involve?
- Commodity & Plant Support: Oversee assigned regional commodities and provide operational quality support across EMEA facilities.
- Audits & CTQ Projects: Execute supplier audits to reduce the regional backlog and lead the Supplier CTQ project for Precision Components.
- Preventive Quality: Lead early-phase activities (drawing reviews, risk assessments, control plans) aligned with APQP & PPAP guidelines.
- Root-Cause Problem Solving: Drive structured issue resolution using 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, SPC, and FMEA.
- Reporting: Track quality metrics and present updates or critical risks to executive leadership.
What we expect from you?
- Experience: 5+ years in quality engineering, manufacturing, or technical project management (BSc in Engineering strongly preferred).
- Quality Toolkit: Practical expertise in APQP, PPAP, GD&T (reading engineering drawings), and root-cause methodologies (8D, 5Why).
- Tools & Languages: Fluent English for daily global collaboration; advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Competencies: Strong autonomy, excellent time management, and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) or PMP credentials.
- ISO 9001 knowledge (auditor certification is a plus) and SAP ERP experience.
- Working knowledge of German.
