Your responsibilities

• Selling CeGaT medical genetic diagnostic and customized NGS services to medical institutions/MDs and research/biotech/pharma companies in Poland (e.g.: Poznań, Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Gdańsk, Szczecin)
• Reaching an annual sales target
• Reaching other personal targets
• Establishing & supporting long-term relationships with key opinion leaders in the sales region
• Managing CRM system for projects and customers
• Answering customer applicational and technical questions (using support from CeGaT headquarter)
• Communicating with patients directly if required to explain complex testing procedures (especially in the field of somatic oncogenetics)
• Preparing documents for public procurements and tenders
• Collecting information about competitor activity and market conditions/ requirements
• Support the company‘s management in formulating sales and marketing strategies in the region
• Negotiations with organizers of and participation in local exhibitions/conferences
• Reporting regularly to Area Business Manager
• Job requires travel within the region (up to 50%) as well as participation in sales meetings in the company’s headquarter (Tübingen, Germany) 2-4 times a year
• Home office based position

Our requirements

• Location in the region is a must, preferred location is Poznań
• Candidates with obtained M.Sc. or PhD/MD in biological sciences (genetics, molecular biology) or medicine is a must
• Thorough understanding of genetics (either research or medical genetics) is a must
• Understanding of NGS techniques (library prep, data analysis)
• 1-2 years of experience in sales/customer care/application support in a biotech, pharma or medical/research device company is strongly preferred
• Experience with a CRM is an advantage
• Self-motivated and result-oriented
• Strong communication skills and negotiating ability
• English - B2 level or above, Polish - C2 level or mother tongue
• Ability to work independently, oriented towards performance and results, and at the same time to work efficiently as a part of a remote sales team
• An interest in selling advanced technology products
• A solid grasp of scientific and medical concepts and procedures
• Willingness to travel 50% of working time
