For our client, a global organization operating within the financial and banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join a European Payroll Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll activities and partnering with external payroll providers to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll across multiple European locations, including Poland, Luxembourg, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. You will play a key role in payroll governance, compliance, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Twój zakres obowiązków
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple European countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Review, validate, and process payroll input data, including salary changes, bonuses, benefits, deductions, and other compensation elements.
- Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll providers and act as the main point of contact for payroll-related matters.
- Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll activities, including reporting and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support pension-related payroll activities and other employee benefit programs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to payroll optimization initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive employee data.
Nasze wymagania
- Several years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within an international or multi-country environment.
- Strong knowledge of Polish payroll regulations, taxation, social security contributions, and payroll best practices.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and coordinating payroll activities with external partners.
- Knowledge of payroll processes in other European countries would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with payroll and HR systems; familiarity with HCM platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Fluent English and Polish language skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience within financial services, banking, or a global corporate environment would be considered an asset.
