• Working Hours: 12:00 – 20:00 CET

Job Description: As a Software Asset Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end software lifecycle and manage entitlements for our clients in the banking sector. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining compliance and optimizing license consumption, with a critical focus on IBM licensing and the IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) . You will leverage industry-leading SAM platforms—specifically ServiceNow SAM Pro and Flexera —to track software usage, reconcile purchases, and ensure audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• License Optimization (Core Focus): Manage complex software entitlements, compliance, and usage, with deep expertise in interpreting IBM licensing terms (e.g., Passport Advantage, sub-capacity models).
• SAM Tooling: Hands-on administration and utilization of ILMT, ServiceNow SAM Pro, and Flexera to maintain accurate software inventory and generate compliance reports.
• Compliance & Audit Defense: Analyze reconciliation reports to determine effective license positions, address non-compliance, and actively defend against third-party vendor audits.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, procurement, and vendor management to process software requests, harvest underutilized licenses, and drive cost savings.
• Process Governance: Develop and implement robust Software Asset Management policies, workflows, and standards tailored to strict financial sector requirements.

Requirements:

• Deep Licensing Knowledge (Must Have): Strong, practical understanding of enterprise software licensing models and contracts, heavily emphasizing IBM products.
• SAM Platforms: Proven, hands-on experience navigating and managing data within IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT), ServiceNow SAM Pro, and Flexera.
• Experience: Solid background in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM) in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills required to process large volumes of discovery and entitlement data for accurate compliance modeling.
• Communication: Fluent English to lead technical discussions, report findings, and negotiate with international teams and vendors.
• Availability: Must be able to work the required 12:00 – 20:00 CET shift.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in the Banking, FinTech, or highly regulated financial services industry.
• Relevant industry certifications, such as IAITAM (e.g., CSAM) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Software Asset Management.
