About the project, We are looking for a skilled COBOL Developer to join a global Tribe. You will contribute to a global release train on a common core banking product, ensuring that features developed by your team are thoroughly analyzed, specified, developed, tested, and deployed while managing dependencies. With a growth mindset, you will adapt industry best practices to our context and maintain excellent quality. If you are passionate about working in an agile environment and are eager to foster the transition to new technologies while ensuring the legacy system remains operational, this opportunity may be the right fit for you., , This is a hybrid role requiring three days of work from the office in Warsaw.

Your responsibilities, Contributing to the development and maintenance of COBOL applications within the core banking product, Analyzing and specifying features to ensure they meet the needs of the release train, Testing and deploying developed features while managing dependencies, Collaborating effectively with multicultural teams across different locations, Adapting industry best practices to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards, Fostering an agile mindset within the team and supporting the transition to new technologies

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, At least 5 years of experience in COBOL development, Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe, High analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and influence relationships, Advanced level of both English and Polish

Optional, Knowledge of Java
