Software Development Engineer in Test

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the engineering team of a SaaS company in the Hospitality industry.

You will work with the Platform Engineering team on automating testing processes to ensure seamless and effective software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new automation frameworks
• Maintain and improve existing automation test suites
• Monitor, analyze and report test automation results
• Build and own the automation infrastructure
• Able to manage infrastructure in a cloud environment (i.e. AWS) using Infrastructure as Code
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, and PMs to identify automation test cases that will ensure product quality

Requirements

• Advanced degrees in computer science, software engineering
• 7+ years of prior experience in software development
• Experience with infrastructure tools. Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer is a big plus.
• Proficient in automation frameworks and CI test tools
• Experience and ability in developing test automation frameworks from scratch or familiarity with one or more existing automation frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• An attitude of a ‘test first’ approach rather than a ‘test at the end' approach. Experience working in Unix/Linux and AWS environments.
