We are currently recruiting an AML & Compliance Officer for the growing Polish branch of an international corporate bank. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to maintaining the highest compliance standards.

Your responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the business on compliance and AML-related matters.
• Strengthen and continuously improve the bank's compliance framework by introducing practical and effective solutions.
• Identify regulatory changes, evaluate their impact, and ensure the organization is well prepared to meet new requirements.
• Lead compliance and AML risk assessments, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Support business teams in implementing regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations.
• Review internal processes, products, and initiatives from a compliance perspective and recommend improvements where needed.
• Oversee AML and KYC-related activities, ensuring they meet both regulatory expectations and internal standards.
• Prepare reports and communicate key compliance topics to local management and international stakeholders.

Our requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Compliance, Financial Crime, AML, or Regulatory Risk within the banking sector.
• Solid understanding of Polish banking regulations and compliance best practices.
• Practical experience in compliance risk management and regulatory oversight.
• Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and providing clear, business-oriented recommendations.
• Master's degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• AML certification.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills.
• A proactive approach, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
