About the project, As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing secure identity services and access workflows in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This is a hands-on role where you will use automation-first practices to ensure quality across APIs, cloud integrations, and event-driven systems. Your responsibilities, Design, plan, and execute test strategies, test cases, and automation suites., Develop and maintain Python/Pytest frameworks for backend automation and API testing., Validate event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, queues) and policy testing logic., Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback., Track and manage defects in JIRA and produce audit-ready documentation., Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement practices., Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.

2+ years in backend automation testing using Python and Pytest., Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts., Experience with REST API testing and tools (Postman, Insomnia)., Familiarity with event-driven systems, SCIM, OIDC, LDAP protocols., Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery., Knowledge of cloud environments, ideally GCP.

Optional, Policy-as-code testing exposure (OPA/Rego)., Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, Gatling)., Experience with orchestration tools, graph databases, or containerised tests.
