Recruitment for

An American technology and engineering company in the greenfield sector, specializing in advanced cooling systems and thermal energy management for critical infrastructure, is currently seeking an AP Specialist.

About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accurate invoice processing, vendor account management, and timely payments in line with company policies and tax regulations. The role involves close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners in an international environment.

Your responsibilities

• Process, verify, and code supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare payments and reconcile vendor accounts
• Maintain vendor master data and accounting documentation
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
• Assist with audits, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations
• Contribute to process and system improvements

Our requirements

• Experience in Accounts Payable or accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting processes and financial documentation
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good command of English for daily business communication

Optional

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Polish VAT regulations and invoice processing requirements
• Familiarity with electronic invoicing solutions, including KSeF
• Experience cooperating with international suppliers
