Project related to the development, consulting and support of IT systems for Frontex

The European Border and Coast Guard Agency supports EU Member States and Schengen-associated countries in the management of the EU's external borders and the fight against cross-border crime

Your responsibilities

• Designs and documents test cases for software systems
• Executes tests
• Executes exploratory test sessions
• Reports test results and found defects
• Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
• Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams
• Reviews project documentation
• Takes test lead role in smaller projects

Our requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation
• ISTQB Advanced certification or 3 years of experience in test design above required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of higher education
• Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools
• Experience with testing using Azure DevOps Test Plans
• Hands-on experience with coding in one of languages - Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, VBS
• Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint based applications
• Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
• Proficiency in English (certification is an advantage)
