Field Service Engineer - Poland

Field Service Engineer position at Leica Biosystems supporting histopathology equipment installations and maintenance across Poland. The role involves on-site customer visits, preventative maintenance, repairs, and documentation within a fully remote arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and maintenance of histopathology and ancillary equipment
• Complete accurate Salesforce reports, expense submissions, and spare parts inventory management
• Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault analysis on medical devices
• Collaborate with Field Support Team to deliver professional after-sales service within established KPIs

Requirements

• Education in mechanical, electronic, electrical, or biomedical engineering or equivalent job-related experience
• Technical ability to disassemble assemblies and learn complex mechanical and electrical medical devices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce Field Service
• Fluent Polish (speaking and writing) with communicational English
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel 80% of time including overnight stays
• Capacity to safely lift and move equipment up to 20 kg
