Data Engineers (Mid & Senior) — Krakow (Hybrid) Are you looking to work on modern, high-throughput data platforms without the legacy drag? We are scaling a dedicated Data Engineering team in Krakow to drive a major enterprise cloud consolidation onto a modern GCP & Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture. If you thrive on handling genuinely complex data pipelines, event streaming, and laying the pipeline foundation for future ML & AI workloads, this is for you. What you’ll be doing: Pipeline Engineering: Building & optimizing batch and real-time streams on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Run) and Kafka. Modern Transformation & Architecture: Implementing dbt models and Medallion patterns to enable trusted self-service analytics across global business units. Data Quality & Governance: Setting up data contracts, lineage tracking, and observability tools in a high-scale environment. AI & ML Readiness: Supporting feature engineering, pipeline reproducibility, and freshness guarantees for Data Science teams. What we’re looking for: Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and production GCP data tools. Solid background in Apache Kafka (or similar streaming tech) for event-driven ingestion. Experience with dbt and Medallion architecture patterns. Quality-first mindset: observability, data contracts, and SLO monitoring. Comfort working in a high-scale, structured/regulated environment.
