Your responsibilities, Design, build, and maintain the application's backend services (APIs, business logic) in Node.js / NestJS, Design and implement data models and relations in PostgreSQL using an ORM (Prisma), Build and integrate REST APIs for the client applications (web, PWA) and the admin panel, Implement authentication, authorization, and access-control mechanisms (RBAC), Integrate with third-party services, including payment systems (payment gateways, split payment), Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of backend solutions, Write unit and integration tests, and maintain code quality and readability, Take part in code reviews and apply good engineering practices (SOLID, clean code), Diagnose and fix bugs, and handle production issues, Collaborate with the team in an agile methodology (Agile / Scrum) and participate in team meetings, Use version control (Git) and take part in CI/CD processes, Create and maintain technical documentation for the solutions you build

Joining now means real influence: your decisions will shape the product from its first release., , Responsibilities, , Design, build, and maintain the backend in NestJS (TypeScript) — business logic and REST APIs under /api/v1, Model and optimize data in PostgreSQL 16 with Prisma ORM, Implement asynchronous workflows with BullMQ — notifications and real-time job dispatch, Integrate the Przelewy24 payment gateway (including marketplace / split-payment scenarios) and third-party services, Ensure the quality, security, and performance of APIs and payment-event handling, Take part in code reviews and architectural decisions, working directly with the Tech Lead and Product Owner, , Requirements, , Minimum 2 years of commercial Node.js experience in production environments, Strong command of TypeScript, Solid working knowledge of relational databases (SQL), preferably PostgreSQL, Experience designing and building REST APIs, Good command of spoken and written English — English is our working language (required), Availability to work on-site from our Warsaw office (Wola district), Ownership mindset — you take a feature from idea to production in a small, fast-moving team, , Nice to have, , Hands-on experience with NestJS, Familiarity with Prisma, BullMQ, Docker Compose, Experience integrating payment gateways (Przelewy24, Stripe, etc.), marketplaces, or payment systems, Familiarity with PostGIS or working with geolocation data, Basic frontend knowledge (Next.js / React), enough to collaborate with the team, Knowledge of Polish or other languages (a plus, not required), , Offer, , PLN 11,000–12,000 gross (employment contract / UoP), Founding-engineer position with genuine influence on product and architecture, A fully specified MVP and documented architecture — you build, not guess, Direct collaboration with the founder and Tech Lead, no corporate layers, Modern office in Warsaw (Wola), , Recruitment process, , Short intro call (online), Technical interview with the team, Decision, , We will contact selected candidates.
