BI Data Analyst

Your responsibilities, Creating and developing data models in SQL (using dbt) and building the analytical layer on top of data lake resources, Designing dimensional structures (fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions) according to data warehousing standards, Building interactive reports and dashboards (Power BI or Qlik Sense) for commercial and corporate data analysis, Balancing transformation logic between SQL and the BI model to keep solutions performant and scalable, Managing user permissions (Active Directory, RLS), Joining client calls, presenting solutions and collaborating closely with stakeholders and the project team

Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders including presenting solutions to clients, Proficiency in SQL - complex queries, CTEs, performance optimization, Practical, hands-on experience with data / dimensional modelling (star schema, fact/dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions), Experience with a BI tool — Power BI or Qlik Sense (either is equally welcome): reports, semantic models, datasets, workspaces, Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and ability to design data transformation pipelines, Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, Self-reliance, good work organization, and accountability for assigned tasks, Availability to work in a hybrid model from our Kraków office (3 days/week)
