Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to lead the migration of multiple applications to a cloud-based (Microsoft Azure) environment using .NET and containerisation technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with leadership skills to guide development teams through a complex transformation journey.

Your responsibilities

• Cloud Migration Leadership: Drive the migration of existing applications to a containerised cloud environment, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Technical Expertise: Design and implement solutions using .NET technologies within container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of developers, testers, and technical experts, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet Euroclear’s technical and business requirements, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners, tribe leads, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in .NET development and cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of containerisation technologies (Kubernetes, AKS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, preferably in Azure Devops
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing technical teams.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and coordinate across multiple squads.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
