SAP EWM Functional Consultant - Implementation & Maintenance (Configuration) - REMOTE

RTX Corporation is recruiting a SAP EWM Functional Consultant – Implementation & Maintenance (Configuration) – Manager (hands‑on) to support the OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program. The role is based remotely within the United States, requires U.S. citizenship, and may involve up to 20% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct workshops with business users to gather and analyze logistics and warehousing requirements.
• Design, configure, implement and support SAP EWM solutions tailored to enterprise needs.
• Drive the implementation effort by training, writing functional specifications, performing SIT/UAT, supporting go‑live, and providing post‑implementation maintenance.
• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, PP, QM) and with third‑party systems.
• Optimize core warehouse processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, GR, putaway, stock transfers, picking, packing and shipping.
• Collaborate with Global Trade and Services teams for integration and with cross‑functional teams (business, technical, client stakeholders).
• Manage multiple tasks independently and provide proactive support in a dynamic environment.
• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• University degree and minimum 8years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5years of experience, or 12years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong SAP EWM functional experience, including proficiency in SAP S/4HANA configuration for inbound, outbound, transfers, RF framework, value‑added services, LOT/PSC, handling‑unit management, serial numbers, kitting, and Material Flow Systems.
• Experience with integration technologies such as CIF, qRFC, IDOC, RFC, and BAPI.
• Project management skills and ability to interface effectively with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with decentralized EWM implementation using S/4HANA Warehouse Maintenance.
• Knowledge of BTP (SAP Business Technology Platform).
• Experience with transportation management or integration with TM.
