Join Our Team as an Electrical Technician

Location: Belgium, in the vibrant town of Lommel. Our client specializes in glass packaging for global food and beverage manufacturers. Employees have the opportunity to participate in regular technical training sessions at facilities in Lommel, Genk, Pelt, and even in Turkey at the production site in Bozüyük. These trainings aim to enhance technical skills and work with modern industrial infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical and electrical installations in the production facility.
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs of installations.
• Monitor the operation of systems such as HVAC, energy, and water installations.
• Diagnose faults and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure safety and proper functioning of technical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the technical team on maintenance activities.
• Report completed tasks in the internal system.
• Suggest improvements for the operation of installations and systems.

What We Offer:

• A competitive weekly salary in Euros, with a base rate of €24.70 gross/hour .
• Weekend work bonus: 30% for day shifts and 35% for night shifts, resulting in €32.11 gross/hour for day shifts and €33.35 gross/hour for night shifts.

Requirements:

• Experience as a technician in technical installations within a production environment.
• Technical education in the field of electrical engineering or electromechanics.
• Knowledge of HVAC, wind turbines, or solar panels is a plus.
• Good command of the English language.
• Willingness to travel for training in Turkey (periodically).
• Ability to perform physical work and work in elevated temperatures (up to 40°C).
• No health restrictions for physical work.
