Your responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and payroll adjustments,
- Maintain and update payroll data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely processing,
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies,
- Prepare payroll reports and support internal and external audits,
- Administer employee lifecycle data (onboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations, absences) in HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors),
- Validate, audit, and maintain high-quality employee master data across systems,
- Handle L1/L2 employee queries related to payroll and HR data, ensuring timely resolution,
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations,
- Monitor and meet SLA targets, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery,
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
Our requirements
- Fluent German (C1 level) and strong English communication skills,
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field,
- Previous experience in payroll administration, HR operations, or data management,
- Hands-on experience with HR systems (Workday preferred) and payroll tools,
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling,
- Solid understanding of employee data lifecycle and payroll processes,
- Experience working with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) is a plus,
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment,
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
