AML/KYC Compliance Officer

AML Compliance Officer – KYC Policy Strategic Change | Hybrid (3 days in office, Warsaw) | Banking Sector

You will:

• Provide subject matter expertise in interpreting international AML regulations and KYC guidelines, ensuring policy compliance with local and global standards
• Conduct legal research and analysis on international regulatory trends and emerging AML risks
• Partner with cross-functional teams across first and second line to drive KYC transformation, including review, simplification and alignment of policies vs procedures
• Manage automation efforts for collecting and integrating country-specific KYC/AML requirements into a global framework
• Manage projects and contribute to roadmap development for policy initiatives
• Develop and deliver high-quality presentation decks to communicate policy changes and strategic updates
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk-based compliance

You bring:

• 7-10+ years of relevant experience in AML/KYC policy development and transformation within financial services
• Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear policies
• Exceptional attention to detail, with experience reviewing and documenting large volumes of data in Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization
• Experience leading strategic initiatives and driving change management with cross-functional teams
• Legal background and relevant certifications (e.g. CAMS) advantageous
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
