Accounts Receivable Professional (m/f/d)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Professional to join our dynamic finance team.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of customer receivables to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
- Perform collection activities and maintain communication with customers regarding payments
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices
- Process and apply incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and unidentified receipts
- Support resolution of customer disputes related to invoices or payments
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve account issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and collection activities
- Contribute to month-end closing activities and financial reporting related to Accounts Receivable
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Application, or similar finance functions
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools
