AP Accountant

Our Client is strengthening their Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) and is now looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join the team in Cracow.
As an AP Accountant, you will be part of the AP accounting team within the Shared Service Center and contribute to the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant Purchase-to-Pay services.
In this role, you will handle daily AP tasks, such as processing supplier invoices, checking employee expenses, preparing payments, and supporting month-end closing. You will work closely with your team, other internal departments and suppliers to ensure high-quality service and smooth finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and employee travel & expense claims

• Ensure correct posting and compliance

• Prepare payment proposals and support payments

• Answer questions from suppliers and colleagues about invoices, travel expenses and payments

• Resolve invoice issues together with business stakeholders

• Support month‑end closing

• Participating in process development and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Around 1–3 years of work experience
• Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field,
• Experience in AP and P2P processes,
• Experience in an SSC, GBS, or multinational environment is considered an advantage,
• Experience working with ERP,
• Basic understanding of VAT and indirect tax topics related to AP,
• Good English communication skills.
