As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to transforming banking experiences through cutting-edge technological innovation. Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Kafka, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial technology solutions.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security to meet high industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality coding standards.
• Occasionally develop front-end components with Angular to support integrated features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, minimizing system downtime.
• Stay current with emerging technology trends and propose innovative enhancements for existing systems.

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, REST API design, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of Polish.
• Communicative level of English for effective collaboration within international teams.

Optional

• Experience with or knowledge of Angular.
• Knowledge of financial or banking industry best practices.
• Certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or related fields.
