About the project

We are seeking an experienced Web Tech Lead to join the engineering team and direct the technical evolution of a modern web platform. The person in this role will define architectural direction, lead technical decision-making, and ensure the platform remains performant, scalable and maintainable. Emphasis will be placed on leveraging AI-assisted development tools and autonomous workflows to increase engineering efficiency and accelerate delivery.

Note: This is a hybrid position from Warsaw (3 days per week in the office).

Your responsibilities

• Establish and own the platform architecture, including database design, deployment pipelines, performance tuning and incident response procedures.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered workflows and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate iteration, reduce manual effort and improve team productivity.
• Lead code reviews and set standards to continuously improve code quality and reduce technical debt.
• Define and maintain testing strategies and automated testing infrastructure; support systematic bug triage and remediation.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support developer onboarding and ongoing knowledge transfer.
• Mentor and coach engineers across the team, promoting consistent engineering practices and professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical direction with product and operational requirements.

Our requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional web development experience.
• Deep expertise with Nest.js (Node.js), React and Next.js in production environments.
• Proven experience owning architectural decisions and designing robust systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with deployment processes, infrastructure management and operational responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and raising engineering standards across teams.
• Practical track record of using AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and code quality.
• Fluent English.
