Frontend Tech Lead with AWS experience

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably TypeScript ),
• Strong technical ability, willingness to learn and evolve your skills with advances in technology,
• Solid hands-on experience in modern UI development with React and TypeScript,
• Proficiency architecting, designing, developing and deploying Cloud-native solutions (preferably AWS ),
• Experience with Server-less platforms such as AWS Lambda, AWS Batch etc,
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code languages such as Terraform or Cloud Formation for managing and provisioning infrastructure,
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development best practices,
• Solid experience with CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines,
• Experience with relational databases ( SQL Server, DB2, Sybase ) and NoSQL data stores (MongoDB or ElasticSearch),
• Strong communication skills to be able to form relationships with stakeholders and break down functionality to a non-technical audience,
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code languages such as Terraform or Cloud Formation for managing and provisioning infrastructure,
• Commercially focused; seeks to understand the requirements and how they will benefit our clients, stakeholders, and business,
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining web applications using TypeScript and React,
• Building modern, user-friendly UI components following best practices,
• Architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions, primarily on AWS,
• Developing serverless applications (e.g., AWS Lambda, AWS Batch),
• Managing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation,
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs,
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes,
• Working with both relational and NoSQL databases,
• Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions,
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and non-technical audiences,
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products,
• Continuously improving skills and staying up to date with new technologies.
