Twój zakres obowiązków

• Support the Chief Accountant in day-to-day accounting operations across Polish and selected foreign entities
• Perform bookkeeping activities (GL, AP, AR) in accordance with Polish Accounting Act, selected foreign accounting requirements, and internal group policies
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, employee expenses, and other month-end adjustments
• Participate in the transition of accounting activities from an external accounting firm to the Company's internal finance organization
• Support the setup and development of the Group Shared Service Center (SSC), including the transfer and standardization of accounting processes from group entities
• Contribute to the implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of the NetSuite ERP system and related financial processes
• Process vendor invoices and support payment preparation in the banking system
• Monitor customer payments and support AR processes
• Maintain fixed assets register and support amortization processes
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Prepare account reconciliations and support discrepancy analysis
• Support preparation of VAT returns (JPK), CIT calculations, and other statutory filings
• Assist in WHT verification and documentation for international transactions
• Prepare selected external reports (e.g. Intrastat, statistical reporting, NBP)
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and group policies
• Support the development, documentation, and improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls
• Collaborate closely with finance teams across Poland, Norway, Sweden, and other group entities
• Take ownership of selected accounting areas and actively contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives

Nasze wymagania

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting (GL/AP/AR)
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting principles and basic tax regulations (VAT, CIT)
• Understanding of accounting processes (accruals, fixed assets, reconciliations)
• Experience with accounting systems / ERP (NetSuite is a plus)
• Good Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Structured, organized, and accurate way of working
• Willingness to learn and develop in a dynamic, international environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Very good communication skills in English (min. B2) (Swedish or Norwegian is a plus)
• Positive, proactive, and “can-do” attitude

The role is planned to be based in our Gdańsk office. Recruitment meetings may take place at our current office in Rumia or online.

Please note that from January 2027, this role will become part of the Group Shared Service Center, which will centralize accounting operations for several group entities. As a result, the scope of responsibilities may evolve to include cross-entity processes, regional leadership responsibilities, and increased collaboration with international finance teams.
