About the project, We are looking for an experienced OT Network Engineer to join a long-term cooperation project delivered by Sii in partnership with an international organization from the renewable energy sector. The role focuses on designing, securing, and maintaining OT network layers for power generation assets across Europe. You will work with FortiGate and industrial routers, setting up secure perimeters, VPNs, and network segmentation for critical infrastructure. The position is fully remote, with occasional business trips (1–2 per year) to Germany for selected on-site activities., Apply now and let’s build secure energy systems together.

Your responsibilities, Design and implement OT network architectures behind existing power plant networks using firewall-based perimeter security, Configure and manage VPN connections for multiple stakeholders, ensuring secure remote access to assets, Perform subnetting, NAT configuration, and firewall rule management for industrial environments, Integrate plant devices and OT systems into segmented and secured network structures, Maintain, monitor, and update network setups on existing renewable energy assets

At least 5 years of professional experience in OT or industrial network environments, Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewall routers and FortiOS, Strong practical knowledge of VPN technologies (IPsec), subnetting, and firewall configuration, Very good English skills (C1) enabling daily work in an international environment, Availability for long-term cooperation with occasional travel (1–2 trips per year), Fluent Polish required, Residing in Poland required
