Warehouse Forklift Operator - Cold Storage Environment

Join our team in Vianen, Netherlands, near Utrecht, for a challenging and rewarding role operating forklifts in a cold storage warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics and inventory management within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts (specifically side loaders) to move and store goods within the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Adhering to safety regulations and procedures in a cold environment (-23/-24°C).
• Contributing to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Valid Dutch certification for operating side loader forklifts.
• A minimum of 6 months experience operating forklifts.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid Category B driving license.
• Experience in logistics or warehousing environments would be advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Shift Schedule: 3 shifts, Monday - Friday.
• Temperature: Cold storage environment (-23/-24°C).
• Accommodation: Provided (shared rooms with maximum 2 people per room).
• Transportation: Free transportation provided within the Netherlands.
• Payment: Weekly payments.
• Language Support: Polish speaking coordinator in NL

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: €16.57 gross (Base rate €15.35 gross + vacation allowance (Vakantiegeld) minimum 8% calculated on base hours).
• Weekend Bonus: 150% for Saturday work.
• Holiday Bonus: 200% for Sunday and holiday work.
