Business Analyst - Airline Operations & IT

Your responsibilities, Analyze operational scenarios and user needs in the aviation domain, taking into account constraints, safety requirements, and real-world usage., Elicit, document, and refine both functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing systems., Translate business and operational needs into clear, implementation-ready specifications for development and testing., Collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and product roles in an international environment., Support solution design, implementation, and validation to ensure alignment with user expectations.

Aviation background (either education or hands-on experience in airline or flight operations) with a solid understanding of domain concepts such as flight briefing, flight planning, cockpit workflows, and airline operations., Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to structure complex problems and derive pragmatic solutions., Experience or strong motivation to work as a Business Analyst in IT projects, including requirements engineering and analysis techniques., Ability to translate operational needs into structured inputs for development and testing., Very good communication skills and a proactive, collaborative working style., Fluency in English, both spoken and written (B2/C1)., Readiness to work in a hybrid model - 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

Optional, Experience in aviation, airline IT, flight operations, or cockpit environments., Hands-on experience in business analysis or collaboration with development teams., Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum), Jira, Confluence, or similar tools., Basic understanding of APIs, data flows, or system integrations., Experience with operational or safety-critical systems., Interest in improving processes, documentation, and ways of working., Polish language skills are a strong advantage for internal collaboration.
