Accounts Payable Process Expert with German

Your responsibilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end Accounts Payable activities and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Process and post vendor invoices in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, investigate discrepancies, and handle invoice and payment-related queries from vendors.
- Execute weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments in compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Participate in regular business review meetings and client calls, providing insights, recommendations and updates on AP performance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities, and contribute to digital transformation projects, including AI-driven solutions.
- Participate in process transitions, migrations and knowledge transfer activities, ensuring smooth implementation and stabilization.
- Support month-end closing activities, account reconciliations and issue resolution.
- Create and maintain process documentation and best practices.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Accounts Payable and support less experienced team members when needed.
Our requirements
- Several years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a Shared Services, GBS or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations and payments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory).
- Very good command of German (C1) – daily communication.
- Good command of English (min. B1/B2).
- Ability to independently analyze and resolve AP discrepancies.
- Experience in month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail, good organization and ability to work with deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
