What We Expect From You

Essential

• Extensive experience in Test Automation, Quality Engineering or Software Development in Test (SDET)
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and modern UI automation frameworks
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of API testing and modern web application architectures
• Practical experience with Python for automation, tooling, AI integration and test data generation
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience driving quality strategy across all testing layers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of timelines, quality objectives and delivery outcomes
• Experience working closely with product, engineering and architecture teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineers and quality teams in technical best practices
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Very good English communication skills
• EU residency

AI & Quality Engineering

• Experience working in AI-enabled software delivery environments
• Understanding of AI-assisted software development and testing practices
• Ability to direct and leverage testing agents and AI-powered engineering tools
• Experience generating and validating AI-generated test assets and outputs
• Ability to assess quality risks associated with AI-driven development
• Passion for exploring and implementing emerging AI-driven Quality Engineering practices
• Strong critical thinking and independent quality judgement when evaluating AI-generated solutions

Your future role

As a QA Manager , you will act as a technical quality leader within an AI-first delivery environment, combining hands-on Quality Engineering expertise with delivery ownership and stakeholder management.

Technical & Quality Leadership

• Define and drive Quality Engineering strategy across the project
• Design and evolve scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
• Establish testing standards, automation architecture and quality best practices
• Ensure effective integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Promote engineering excellence, maintainability and reusable automation solutions
• Support technical decision-making across testing and quality domains
• Drive adoption of modern Quality Engineering practices across the team

AI-First Quality Engineering

• Build and shape an AI-first QA capability skilled in directing testing agents, generating test data and validating AI-generated outputs
• Drive adoption of AI-powered approaches across software development and testing activities
• Lead QA innovation initiatives, including evaluation and validation of approaches such as semantic snapshots, agentic property-based testing and AI-driven mutation testing
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve delivery quality, efficiency and engineering productivity
• Ensure teams maintain independent quality judgement and effectively challenge AI-generated tests and recommendations

Delivery Ownership & Stakeholder Management

• Take end-to-end ownership of project timelines from a quality perspective
• Support planning, execution, risk management and quality governance activities
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies and quality outcomes to senior stakeholders and C-level audiences
• Drive quality-related decision making throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Ensure release readiness and alignment between quality objectives and business goals

Embedding Quality Across Delivery

• Embed Quality Engineering practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle
• Partner with developers and product teams to define executable acceptance criteria before implementation starts
• Promote Shift-Left Testing and Test-Driven Development practices
• Coach teams to uncover missing scenarios, challenge assumptions and assess business risks
• Strengthen a culture of quality ownership across engineering and product teams
• Continuously improve testing approaches, automation capabilities and quality processes
