Responsibilities
- implementing and maintaining online and networking systems for the project,
- profiling and optimizing CPU performance related to online gameplay, networking, and synchronization systems,
- investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving gameplay, networking, and platform-specific issues,
- supporting integration of online services and ensure reliable communication between clients and backend systems,
- identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, synchronization issues, and connectivity-related problems,
- contributing to general engineering tasks and bug fixing across the project as needed.
What we're looking for:
- strong experience developing and maintaining online and multiplayer game systems,
- solid understanding of networking fundamentals, client-server architectures, replication, and synchronization techniques,
- experience profiling and optimizing CPU performance in online gameplay scenarios,
- familiarity with online platform services, matchmaking, session management, and related systems,
- strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach,
- familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 & NS1 console development and platform-specific optimization challenges is preferred,
- ability to operate as a generalist engineer and contribute across multiple areas of the game when needed.
