Senior Platform Engineer

• Successfully completed  university studies in  Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics , or a comparable field
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience designing, operating, and scaling  cloud platforms and/or platform services in production environments.
• Strong practical experience across  cloud platforms and Kubernetes , including  AWS and/or Azure (networking, IAM, security, compute, managed services)and  production-grade Kubernetes administration .
• Proven expertise in  Infrastructure as Code, automation, and operations , including  Terraform/Terragrunt, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, scripting , monitoring, observability, incident handling, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of  security, governance, and cost optimization , including  identity and secrets management, network security, compliance awareness , and  FinOps exposure as a plus.
• Strong  analytical and decision-making skills , experience with  Agile/DevOps delivery models , structured delivery processes ( Jira, Confluence ), and the ability to  mentor engineers and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Very good communication skills in English and Polish ;  German is a plus , along with openness to a  hybrid working model (presence in the Katowice office once per week).
