For our client, a global industrial engineering and gases company delivering large-scale projects across international markets, we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Logistic Specialist

 

Work mode: On-site, Kraków

Contract type : B2B, through Hays Poland 
Start Date : 01.09.2026

Project: Initial 6-month contract

Language : English B2+

Project & Role Overview : 

You will join an international project supporting complex industrial logistics and global transportation operations. The role focuses on end-to-end coordination of international shipments, customs processes, transport procurement, and logistics execution for project deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, invoices, certificates of origin, and vendor document verification.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clients.
• Purchase transport and logistics services, prepare RFQs, compare offers, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Organize sea and oversized road transportation according to project schedules.
• Coordinate customs clearances and Intrastat reporting.
• Track deliveries, monitor logistics costs, and manage transport-related claims.
• Participate in international project meetings and support project delivery activities.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project logistics within industrial companies.
• Knowledge of international trade and transport documentation.
• Good understanding of customs procedures, export control, VAT rules, and Incoterms.
• Experience organizing sea transport and oversized road transportation.
• Knowledge of transport regulations including CMR Convention and Hague-Visby Rules.
• Practical experience with Intrastat reporting.
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAP.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under time pressure.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Knowledge of SAP ECHO.
• Previous experience in international project delivery environments.
