About Our Client

Our client is an international organisation operating across multiple markets, delivering business services to customers worldwide. The company is currently expanding its finance operations and is looking for a detail oriented Staff and Senior Accountant to join Shared Services team.

Job Description

• Prepare financial analyses, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Review and validate accounting data across different finance processes.
• Support month end and period end close activities.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with internal requirements.
• Investigate and follow up on accounting queries and discrepancies.
• Identify areas for process improvement and support operational efficiency initiatives.
• Participate in finance system and process transition projects.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in accounting, financial operations, reconciliations or related areas.
• Fluent English and Slovenian language skills at minimum B2 level.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with deadlines and established procedures.
• Experience supporting financial reporting or closing activities.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related subject is an advantage.
• Additional accounting qualifications in progress are welcome.
• Problem solving attitude and willingness to learn.
