Automation Development Engineer - Hybrid, Global Projects

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for the position of Automation Development Engineer (M/K).

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing tools and scripts to automate processes in network environments
• Maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks
• Integrating OSS/BSS systems with other network components
• Collaborating with R&D, QA, and deployment teams
• Participating in testing and supporting deployments at customer sites (remotely or on-site)
• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of automated processes

Requirements

• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Professional experience as an Automation Engineer or in a related role in the telco or IT sector
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, TCL, Bash, Python etc.)
• Familiarity with OSS/BSS systems is a strong plus
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Familiarity with protocols and technologies such as SNMP, NETCONF, REST APIs, TR-069/TR-369
• Understanding of operator network architectures (e.g. MPLS, xDSL, GPON)
